ticks some boxes, misses others 2011-01-09
We have often eaten at/ordered from Mughal's and have seen the place undergo some massive changes in their food and service. The one thing that has stayed unchanged is the decor: there is a small air-conditioned area and a large, spacious sit out area (which is way better). There is an open kitchen right by the entrance. The bathroom there is somehow never vacant and never clean.

new prices not worth da food de serve 2011-01-08
dis restra serve ok ok food.. nothing gr8.. sumtimes it may taste worse even but still its mostly eatable types.. surprisingly de hav increased da menu prices almost 25% more which is highly over priced for da normal food de serve.
as for example half ckickn tandoori priced at 160rs for such a restra is sumting i cudnt digest. food had no gr8 taste.. chikn is dry n tight.. kipin in mind da increased onion prices de dnt even serve enuf onions wid da tandoori which is pathetic...
i wud recommend u to better opt for nearby kakori house which serve authentic mughlai food at almost... read more -

Mughal feast for Mumbai countrymen 2010-12-15
With a restaurant that stands at the corner of Oshiwara - hidden away from public view, and with a predator competitor in the form of Kareem's next door, Mughal's can be applauded for still being able to hold its swagger.
A huge space that is rarely crowded, the restaurant scores on its ample variety, and good quantity, VFM, and extremely attentive and well-trained staff.

Liked what I read but not what I experienced 2010-03-15
I had read the reviews posted here and then decided to try Mughals out...
Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes (Chicken Lahori and Vegetable Lahori both mentioned as specials) because it took ages to get em on our table and then none of us liked the food...
We took a table in the AC seating...and there was a definite unpleasant stench...
The fresh lime soda was bitter...and that also not a good bitter...
Guess the other reviews had raised my expectations a bit too much...Did not try out the starters, kebabs etc so maybe thats why I have such a different experience... -
