Its a stall in which you would have in a car or there is a small table which you have next to the stall or you can have a take away parcel...it is famous of its Kati rolls and all tawa items and also chuchura nan which is mouth watering....it is also famous for Chicken TakaTak, Lobster spicy bhoona masala, Surmai slice tawa

    the things we ordered:
    1.paneer tikka:good and nice
    2.veg tawa pulao- very flavourful
    3.veg kathi roll-decent

    My friend got me to Mumbai Tawa when I was in town last time. I am from Kolkata and wanted to get a taste of the city. She got me here for dinner and we had a great experience. The food was delectable, portions were good enough, service was decent and prices were great. Everything was just perfect.

    If you are the in the Juhu/Andheri Link Road area, are hungry and can't get reservations in a hotel, head to Mumbai Tawa. That's what we did on a Sunday evening when getting a table in any reasonably decent restaurant in the vicinity is a nightmare.

    We had a paneer roll, chicken kabab roll, mutton kheema adrakwali with roomali roti, chicken biryani, egg masala gravy with naan, surmai tawa fry - of which only the surmai was a disappointment. The remainder was fairly decent food.

    And the portions were surprisingly adequate, unlike other roadside joints in the area.

  • Pathetic Taste,Very Unhygenic & Unruly Service May 04, 2012

    If your vegeterain, please do not eat here. They cook both veg & non-veg on the same pan! Very unhygenic & the service boys are unruly & rude.
    In all a very bad experience. Never going back.
