I accidentally ended up at this place on a Sunday night after Cafe' Basilico had too long a waiting time. Was pleasantly surprised by Thai Ban's delicious food (non-authentic but then neither are most Thai, Chinese places in Bombay). The crispy beef tenderloin, shrimp pad thai and the chicken dishes that we called for were all very well marinated and really tasty.
Would like to make a mention of our waiter Sushant, who gave us an OUTSTANDING service while we were here.....prompt and proactive. We spent 1000 for 2 people for ice teas, 2 appetizers, a curry and a noodle plate.
We sat on the outside patio, it can be a touch hot outside. i did get a chance to take a peek inside which was quite packed and the restaurant came across as having an above average ambience and hygiene level. 4 stars...
