Thai? Really?
Thai Ban it's called but it doesn't really taste thai? I went to Thai Ban cause a friend of mine was craving for Thai food...
When we entered we were quite impressed with the interiors and the decor. It was really welcoming. The service was pretty okay. It was quick but you had to really grab the attention of the staff which was pretty annoying.
Once we placed our order, the food was there in no time but to our disappointment it tasted anything but THAI... The gravy was thick like a butter chicken gravy and extremely spicy. It tasted more Indian than Thai. I'm giving it 2 stars only because... read more -

This place ie VFM, average Food, nothing special on ambience. Asked for a specific Thai preparation, got a pirated desi version. The service could do with more smiles and faster feet. No alcohol, damages for soft drink, main course meal 325 bucks per head -

Excellent Thai Food
Thai Ban serves as an excellent option when you are craving for some real good Thai food. I'v been there for more than a couple of times and have returned mighty pleased every time. Its a pretty small place, but the superb food and quick service more than makes up for it. We tried Veg Dimsum, Pad Thai, Green and Red Thai curry (which was simply outstanding) with steamed rice. This joint has the fastest service I'v ever seen in Mumbai. Meal for 2 can put you back by around Rs. 1000/-

Always Delightful
Its my third or fourth visit to Thai Ban and i never got disappointed. Went there on Saturday night around about 9.00pm and got seats as soon as we entered there.
They have added new dishes in their Menu. We started off with Veg Dumplings and Vegetable Tempura. Vegetable Tempura is nothing but Thai version of Pakoda's - Deep Fried. For the main course we ordered Phad Thai, Korean Rice, Khao Prao (Steamed Rice) with Gaeng Kari Talay (Thai Yellow Curry).
Food quantity is sufficient for 4 Adults and 1 Kid. Food quality is very good. Staff is friendly. Over all a good place to -
