namak is a north indian restaurant in the very elegant hotel sahara star. it is a conered restaurant with very odd spacing. we five friends went to have food on friendships day over there. we were given a semicircled u-shaped table over there. 5 of us could hardly manage to sit over there. we requested to change the table, our request was kindly ignored, saying that we will check if anything can be done. than comes the food a lame taste paneer makhani and mix veg, with a cheese naan half cooked... though the food was served on time but it tasted like a typical 5 star north indian food, differing... read more
I wasn't sure what to expect from Namak but the food was delicious and the monies were decent. We were aiming for a romantic dinner for two but ended up being surrounded by business types! Ooh even spotted Subroto Roy speaking with dinner acquaintances!

Damages for two with drinks were approx 3.9k which was reasonable in my mind for a 5 star. Do go and try Namak - you won't be disappointed.

I think thier menu has tons of options and high on... read more
