I had always heard about a gujrati thali and always thought punjabi thali would be sarosoda saag and lassi and so on. However I was in for a pleasant surprise when i reached this place on a sunday expecting 30 mins of waiting. Ansaa was totaly empty, there was parking too in the building.
The place which is reasonably small serves mouth watering Punjabi Thali consisting of 2 vegetable one panner and one non panner, 2 rotis, dall fry, raita( dam good raita), papad, salad and sweet(out of the 5 times i have been there always it has been gulab jamun) nad yes rice. If u manage to have anything else apart from the Thali, hats off to you man. The food is excellent and creamy and there was not even one thing which you will feel like leaving. Simply amazing food.
Now coming to the money part, it costs just Rs. 110 on any day. With VAT it comes to Rs. 124. It is one of the cheapest and the best punjabi food u can ever have. Trust me on that one. However the all-a-carte menu turns out to be a little expensive with nothing being priced below Rs.140. A definite must try!
