Gorgeous Opa 2012-03-20
Opa is gorgeous in every way... Presentation, Ambiance, Service and of course the main course. we tried some mushroom rissotos, soups, aglio olio pastas et all.
We were greeted by a warm bunch and overall we enjoyed everything.
except for a fine dining place like opa the music was a sore thumb. dim lights, romantic set up, and hip hop music-techno in the background. Pls pls play some good soothing music. other than that its perfect... oh yes. with couple of drinks,starters,main course we racked up a bill of Rs 2.3k -

Very nice and classy ambiance, has indoor and outdoor seating.
Surprisingly almost empty on a Friday night.
Service is very ok, waiters are just normal guys who try to be stylish speaking in english when they exactly don't know what they are speaking.
Food is decent, nothing extraordinary just a normal fair.
Good thing is that they have some middle eastern items on their menu which is rare in Mumbai. -

Was there in OPA, Juhu for the 31st night with a gang of 6. Loved the food & cocktails.
Our bartender Shobit was very good, the cocktails he served us wer just superb...his suggestions for starters was good. We had pomogranate martini, peach n apple, tamrind margarita( just amazing).
The Food:
Starters: Calamari Fritters, all new caprise, braised baby lamb chops, poached figs.
Were very tasty & well made.
Mains: Lamb shank was awsome, lobster was perfectly done & flavourfull, pork ribs tht wat everyone appriciated, veg tagine was tasty & flavourfull.
