Place where u pay Service charge for a selfservice 2012-01-06
Absolutely funny thing I have ever experienced.... had an office get together and had planned for a buffet lunch, which was completely self service system..... and to my surprise when there was a bill in our hand.... there was service charge included..... funny..... lollzzzzzzz.....

Quiet a surprise..a good one at that! 2011-12-11
Saturday night is one of the toughest times to get a decent restaurant to eat at, without reservations. That’s exactly what happened to me till I chanced upon Oriental Palate.. It was pretty empty surprisingly (good for me) and I wasn’t sure if I should go in considering the fact that Temptations(part of the same brand) is located right next to it and it looks really shady. I decided to give it a shot and I must say it managed to please my tummy.

Horrible Food & cocktails 2011-08-22
Ordered Mojito and the bartender made it too sour resulting in a taste of Virgin Mojito , ordered soup and Dim Sums they both had a typical Smell also the Veggies were not fresh at all including the chicken in Kung Pao Sauce which was black in color….see that for the first time too….so definately won’t be going there again as the chef has all the food mixed up between that, chinese , japanese, burmese & Tibetan style -

To start off, its a very good place.. nice ambience, we feel very comfortable there.. Had ordered oriental cottage cheese satay with peanut sauce, it was very different from the regular satays available at other places, peanut sauce was too good, had requested for an extra bowl ;-)
for Main course we had butter fried noodles, once again too good..
and lastly, darsan with icecream and sweet noodles was great..
people are good there, one important thing is to take the waiters opinion beforeplacing order.. a must visit for chinese food lovers.. -

Excellent place 2011-05-30
I went to this place yesterday with my bf. Now to begin with I am really skeptical to take him to all this experiments which I keep on having with food joints. We ordered for a chicken mushroom soup and it was awesome. The Thai pot rice was excellent too. The drinks are priced reasonably. The ambiance very soothing and relaxing. Service is also commendable. All in all I was very satisfied with this experience and to top in on, the best part was to see my bf enjoying the food and the smile he had on his face. I will surely like to visit this place again. -

okay, it was a date and a very good one indeed :D. the ambiance of this place makes you wanna drop out of your shell and blend in the warm and beautiful decor. the lighting, perfect! the staff, they almost make you feel like some king or queen. the music played is soothing and to sum it all up, your really comfortable!
when it comes to the food, make sure you order everything with your eyes open! do ask them to suggest you but again, be sure it's gonna be something out of the menu given and costly too. the food is very rich is spices and flavors, even by Indian standards! until you order... read more -

not as good as expected 2011-04-08
i had been to thailand just a month ago and loved the thai cuisine....after coming back to mumbai felt like having some "authentic" thai cuisine...i dnt think so oriental palate is serving the real thai cuisine...its more of an indianised version with all the indian spices...hence many ppl will like it....sorry oriental palate... -
