I went to Oro with about the same expectations I have from any other spa - great ambiance, smiling service and a good massage. Oro got it all right, well almost.
The service was polite right from the start, they welcomed me with some hot green tea and a pamphlet of yearly packages (were they so sure I'd visit again? ;-)
Inside the massage room, the ambiance was perfection...dimly lit, well cooled with soothing music.
Foot Massage & Reflexology: Rs.800 for 1 hour
I was escorted into the common massage room (you know how a foot massage doesn't need any privacy :-P
The masseuse scrubed my legs with an awesome salt. Then I was led to my super-comfy adjustable massage chair. Now for the real deal - the massage was just about ok. The technique was not incorrect, however, the lady exerted too much pressure. She politely accepted my request to reduce the pressure but (blame it on her flab maybe??) she exerted the same amount of pressure throughout the massage! Ouch!!
So the experience wasn't bad as such, I'd just be too scared if the same lady were to massage my head or neck :P
