So it started with where to go for a girls night out and we ended up at Out of The Blue. Since it was a Saturday night, we had to wait for about 20 mins and we were ok with that. The waiting area is where their dessert section is, and us famished girls were longing for a bite of those delicious desserts displayed at their counter!
We were ushered into the open dining section which was wonderfully lit with candle light type of dim lights placed on each table. The whole thing gave a very peachy look to the area and we loved it instantly! They have all kind of seating arrangements. A regular table and chair affair both in the A/C section as well as outside. We got to sit on an elevated platform with a very low bench and a low table, almost like the one's you have at any hookah places but this one was much cuter and cozier.
We ordered for 3 Cheese rolls and Bruschetta for starters alongwith some mocktails. Since one of us was a jain, they were kind enough to give us options for dishes which can be made jain style for my friend. Next, we went for their 4 Cheese Fondue which was divine! After which we called for their make you own Sizzler and a jain style Pasta mafia. The pasta was great even though it was jain, so I can only imagine how their original pasta tastes like! However, the sizzler was a disappointment. It did not have any veggies. Just the cutlet and butter rice we chose from their options alongwith the cheese sauce. Individually, the items tasted good, but together it was a mess. Since we were extremely full after having so much, we had to skip the desserts which was a shame, but I'm sure to try them the next time.
The service here is pretty quick. The food came earlier than expected even though the place was jammed full of people. The only glitch was, out of all the mocktails we ordered, 1 never came inspite of a reminder; after which I had to ask our server to cancel it since we were almost done with our dinner. The guy serving us also didnt seem too bothered and instead of apologizing, simply said ok to cancel. However, we had to call some other guy when they messed up with the Sizzler. That guy seemed much more courteous and apologetic and brought us a bowl of veggies though, again bland, but we appreciated it. He also offered to get the missed mocktail but we denied.
Overall, the experience was great except these few glitches which can be overlooked considering the other pros of this place. I would definitely recommend OOTB to everyone out there. Go and have a gala time with friends/family here with excellent food and ambiance!
Damages for 4 were approx 3,500/- which is not so bad.
