Overrated 2012-03-22
Had gone to the place with a lot of expectations. May b bcos of that, I didnt find it that good. The salli boti was really good. But the portions are soooo small. one person cannot be full in one portion which makes it a very expensive place. Thumb rule of town food is good quantity irrespective of the price and class of the restaurant. It lets one down here.
Other dishes that i tried like fish fillet, cheese and chicken balls were OK.
Service was not satisfying again. -

Paradise is dubbed as this old-world colaba joint with authentic Parsi fare. I visited with my family and was greeted with a smiling face. The Parsi lady who owns the place is really sweet, we called her for directions... *thrice*...she was patient and sweet. Though she kinda misled us ;) Anyway I'll just list the positives and negatives..

Yum Parsi food..try the dhanshak and salli boti
Home-like cheese pasta, nice Fish & chips..i like!
CONS
Small portions (one dish serves one)
Caramel custard was so-so...try Lagan nu custard

Old world charm .. 2012-01-15
The first thing that hit us when we landed there was that it was empty ... old world charm place with an old lady sitting in the counter. The place shouted home cooked bawa food !!! The waiters were ateast 70 yrs old ... both of them. We felt like kids in a play school.
Ordered soup which was average. Mutton curry (sali boti) & Rotis to start with followed by mutton biryani. Mutton was excellent, with finely cut potato wafers. Biryani was just perfect with brown onion strewn on top. Nothing amazing but a great 'different' experience.

Stuck up 2011-12-16
This place seems to be stuck up with the same old food. The quality is deteriorating. Parsi food not at all authentic. The owner wont put on the air conditioning, even after repeatedly telling him to do so. The prices are not cheap anyway, then why make your customer suffer? What if we were the only people at that time. Never going back very disappointing. -
