Went to this place on my birthday and one word: disappointed. This was after the big hoo and hallah that their advertisement made, about their Sunday sea food buffet. And the lady to whom I confirmed the menu with, sounded pretty supportive of the same. But na...
The order started with the crab soup, which, along with the crab meat, had shell shreds, too! The taste was a little out-of-the-fridge stuff too. Good Ambance, Good Service, Mediocre Food 2012-03-13
They do have a nice restaurant, well lit and nice people to serve you. As I entered I waited for exactly 4 minutes to be seated in a partially crowded restaurant, they serve you bottle water as a standard practice, something I guess all restaurants of this category should adopt. Menus are digitally onto I pads, nice ! We ordered sweet corn chicken soup, good portion but then the chicken used in it was real funny tasting. something that comes out from a freezer or stale I really couldn't make out., brought it to the attention of the wait staff but he said hell have it checked and vanished !!!!... read more -

Two days in a row - Yes its that good 2012-02-22
Amazing place, good food, super fresh fish. I went there two days in a row with different set of people. Per head cost without drinks felt reasonable at 1,000/- We had four types of fish among 4 of us (two starts and two main course). The River and Sea Food festival was on when I went they and haven't been more satisfied by the entire dining experience at this cost in a long long time. Love it!! Will go again over the weekend :-) -

If you love seafood, this is a must-visit place 2011-10-22
My kids and I love seafood, especially when it is cooked in Mangalorean style. And after a lot of false starts in many places which claim to serve Mangalorean fare, I've finally found one place which lives up to its claim.
Now we are such regulars here that we do not even look at the menu anymore to decide what to order.
Some of the dishes I highly recommend are the Surmai fry in Mangalorean style, prawn gassi with neer dosa, clams in sukka masala and bombil fry. The prawn gassi especially is the best I have had outside of Mangalore.

Good food & excellent service 2010-01-12
I went to pebbles on 7/1/2010, it was my first visit to the juhu residency boutique hotel, which has 3 good restaurant in the same building melting pot, pebbles & 49 grills, i went to pebbles as i wanted to have sea food, they have the largest variety in sea- food, i really missed out on their international seafood festival last year. The chef's at the hotel know their job very well. If you are at pebbles don't miss out on their ghee roast chicken, neer dosa and appam.
