Having been a regular at Pop Tates, which was later renamed as Jughead's, in Malad, there are some things which you presume to be the same in the newly-opened Pop Tates. Well, change is the only constant in life and the new Pop Tates is a good example of that.
One good thing about this place is that it is pretty big and has 50 tables, each of which can seat at least 4 people. So, thankfully it is not cramped.
The waiters are over-attentive, but that could be because we were among the three odd patrons in the restaurant. I do hope over time they continue with their courteous demeanor, but also realize that when people go out to dine, they do it to dine without having someone literally stand over your shoulder!
One can't complain much about the menu. But strangely, the options for sizzlers (which is what Pop Tates is well known for) is very limited. And no, they do not serve beef, which is surprising again. So no Saltimbocca or Salisbury steak here, friends.
Overall, this is an ok place. I only hope they revise the menu to make it more exciting.
