  • Horrible Service. 2009-11-24

I've been such a fan of this place but I went for lunch recently ! It was a terrible experience ! Not only do you have to wave out to get someone's attention to be served - their ice tea's are become "YUCK" and smell stale ! Their glass sizes have reduced but not the prices - How cool or wat ! Also it takes forever to get your bill and errors in that as well ! Total turn off when you love the plc so much and then get this !!!

  • So disappointing 2009-11-19

Visited the Bandra Pot pourri after ages and have never been so disappointed. It used to be a must visit place during our college times for the yummy desserts and delicious food but now all the place has, is a sense of neglect. there used to be this staff member either Francis or Xavier (cant remember) who used to single handedly manage the place and still give every patron his undivided attention. When we went yesterday, the place seemed run down and empty, the sole staff member seemed grumpy and the food was disappointing. The basil prawns gave off a funny smell and the tom yum was from a differe... read more

  • Great place!! 2009-08-18

Pot Pourri is a great sit out in Bandra. Not a great ambience and can be hot if u go there for lunch as it is an open-air sit out. Nice place for dinner.

    Must try chicken stroganoff!!!

  • Decent food, good service 2009-07-28

Have been here a few times now. This is a strategically located place on Turner Road, and is hard to miss. The service is decent although my friend knew the manager so that could have played a part.

The menu serves up "continental" and Indian items. I had the most interesting dish, the buttered prawns with beetroot rissoto. Although, it looks shockingly unappetising, it was one of the tastiest things ive eaten in a while

Overall, I recommend the place if your passing by, but not somewhere I would travel miles to eat at

  • Warm and Special place 2009-06-04

My wife and i love Pot Pourri. We have been going there for the past 6 years. Seen both phases and have enjoyed both. They know the food and the founders are passionate about it. The warmth and service is relaxed. I love their Pastas, Mexican Platter and Gnocchis.

    The desserts are mouth watering

  • Few Veg Options. 2008-04-05

I has a small meal here. Since we are strict vegetariang we expected limited choices in the menue. Yes the choices were limited for sure for the vegetarian food eaters.

What actually went wrong was we were given a table near the kitchen door which gave off a lot of the typical non veg cooking odour.
Due to this my wife totally diagreed and did not eat a single morsol.

So here I was to eat all by myself since the food had been already ordered and was about to be served.

I had a Veg Panini Sndwitch. It was nicew but there could have been some more vegies in

  • I agree with max_factor 2007-10-12

I loved this place, what in hell's name happened to it? time was when i looked forward to every meal and was then disappointed when it underwent renovation. i waited for the return of the prodigal, even going so far as dropping in the day it reopened. i had a pretty piss poor experience that day, so let's not go there. i thought it was a one-off, but every consequent return has been just as disappointing. now i don't go there coz i don't wanna screw the memories i have of it. be warned, for this place isn't as good as it was one time.

  • A good collection! 2007-02-01

The first thing that one notices about this place is the size of the menu. Just one big sheet of hard paper with carefully selected items prinited nicely. And yes.... you cannot miss those chai wala glasses.. although just bigger in size.

This place has over the years has mastered quite a few recipes and bakery items. Their green tomato burnt chilli soup is very nice. The lasgane is nice but on the very heavy side. The pastas are good but at times do get cold by the time they reach your table. Roasted lamb is a must try for lamb lovers. One can order more or less any dessert and not

  • Fall from grace 2006-11-21

Pot Pourri was among my favorite joints till some years back. Not any more. The food doesnt seem to have the same charm it once did and I can say that for the look and feel of the place itself.

Prices are definitely steep for the non airconditioned road side joint, no matter how hard they convince you that its the positioning. Whats more, most of the stuff I liked is off the menu now. I wont stop people from wanting to eat there (not just yet) but I wont recommend it.

  • Sinful deserts & amazing food 2006-09-10

    Cuisine – World cusine

    Location – Turner road, Bandra

Ambience – Pot Pouri used to be a one shop eatery offering you an array of dishes ranging from pasta, wraps, salads along with the most scrumptious deserts from confectionary outfit, called Melting Moments. Now they have expanded the one shop into a couple of them with contempary style seating.

Food- There is a lot of variety, so u will again be spoiled for choices. The Apple Lemonade( Rs 40) is very good, the tex- max burger wraps were good too, (Rs 125) was good, but the grilled mushrooms were a little
