excellent food, typical north indian style, a bit rushy in evening, ever want to enjoy the typical food in north indian style, just move to this place when it is a bit rainy-drizzling, take a cool drink and enjy the best food. -

Almost-authentic dhaba flavors in Mumbai 2012-03-28
One of the best places to have a mutthi-kanda, makai roti, sarson da saag and kadhi pakoda. It doesn't get more authentic than this is Mumbai. Perfectly spiced and well-prepared dishes! Highly recommended! -

Talk about the feel of the place or the food or the people, its just absolute punjabi. And this coming from a punjabi who has been eating the tadka for 23 years over and over.
The taste is not all that different to be honest, the spices used more or less the same. It is the presentation that is just a plain & simple catch.
I took my clients from London to this food joint and now they know of punjabi cuisine from the taste and flavor they had here.

Finger licking delicious 2011-12-23
This is an evergreen restaurant for me. When we can't think of a new place to go, we come to Pratap - The Dhaba. Food is awesome and so is the service.
Ambience is warm and welcoming, with a nice crowd as well. Though they also serve alcohol, I've never wanted to drink here... the food takes all my attention :)
Veg and non-vegetarians, it's a delight for both. The most popular dish and also the chef's special is Dhaniya adraki Paneer/Chicken.
Well if you want a nice warm place to sit with friends for a casual dinner, this is the place to go. You will enjoy your dinner, surel -

Best Butter Chicken in the suburbs 2011-12-08
The title says it all. I have been a regular customer of Dhaba since the past 8 years and they have been consistent in their quality and service.
You wouldn't find more authentic makhni daal and butter chicken anywhere in the suburbs. Add to it, pyaaz "mukka mar ke" and meethi lassi and you'll be forgiven for believing that you are sitting in an actual dhaba somewhere in the middle of Punjab.
The only minor flaw is in their home delivery service which takes as much as 2 hours to deliver to Lokhandwala on a weekend.
But overall, a must try for lovers of good Punjabi/Frontier cui -

Good food...delicious...v sat in d A/C section.... mosquitoes were having a feast wid our blood...not really organised....lot movement of waiters....at one tym u will forget which waiter was attending u....during the entire meal i had to ask for water everytym....BAD SERVICE....good ambiance.... -

Ordered Parcel food from the restaurant where the order taker told me that it would take 1 hour and 15minutes to which i agreed. finally the food arrieved after 1 hour and 30 minutes. out of the seven itemes which i had ordered they did not deliver me one and had charged me for it. when i called the restaurant to inform themout the same they kept on passing the phone from one person to another. i had to hold for at lest 10 minutes when finally some came over the phone they told me that it would take another 35 - 40 min. they dont under stand that how can some one wait for over two hours to have... read more -
