    I had done a quick basic review some time ago. However, felt not enough justice was done. Saturday, gathering for a impromptu celebration at a friends place, unanimously decided to try out the place again.

    Starters:
    Paneer malai tikkay – it was a bit kadak,should have been soft melt in the mouth kind; Makai sheekh kabab – very nice, just the right consistency and juicy makai.
    Chicken malai tikkay were excellent. They make them with a coating of egg and accompanied by green chutney and onions were just perfect. A must try.

    A shady place with no proper directions to reach... Wanted to celebrate my birthday with some punjabi food, and stumbled upon dis place - Well as loud the ambience is we were hoping the food would be loud too... Much to our disappointment, this over the top expensive place did not live upto the expectations...

    Most of the food we ordered was half cooked or too much of salt, upon protesting the waiter takes the dish back in the kitchen and comes out with the same dish in 2 mins which he took 45 mins to prepare in the first place so God knows what he did there....

    No Parking Place and Heavy Crowds on week-ends, hence the long waiting periods are my 2 major complaints against Pratap’s.
    For the rest, they have not given me a chance to complain about as yet.

    The indoors have a Dhaba like décor with lanterns and matki hanging from the wooden beams overhead. Sitting arrangement is a little low with short chairs. If you sit outside, you have the charpoy but mosquitoes may trouble you. But all this vanishes when the food starts to arrive.

    Have been here with my husband & best friend..the menu is limited so we can choose quickly want we want to have :).. we have ordered chicken tandoori and it was awesum tender & juicy with perfect spices...i loved the salad which they provided with their special chat masala and we finish almost 2-3 plates of the salad.. The best is the Dal Khichdi yummy and never had super tasty dal khichdi..Not to forget they give pan shots complimentary..In all reasonable price for tasty food..Will visit soooonnn...

    The interiors are like that of a North Indian dhaba. The food is quite good.The onions they serve are really tasty.One of the famous dishes here is Vodka Pani Puri

    A amazing place to have a host of Punjabi delicacies. You name it & Pratap will serve you the best. Right in the heart of all Mumbaikars, its a nice place for family get togethers with me having being celebrated a number of ocassions like my nephew's naamkaran, birthday parties and lots more. My favourite is Plalak Paneer with Naans n Pineapple Raita. Ummmm love it. Only problem visitng Pratap is lack of adequate parking space around as its full always and that you have to wait for quite some time to occupy the cosy ambience n feast on Pratap's lip smacking heart ans stomach filling food. !!!

    This place has already been given THREE Burrp certificates so needless to say its amazing.
    i think its the best dabba in andheri.
    its absolutely reasonable for the quantity and quality you get. Between 5 eaters we just had 2 starters, 1 dal, 1 sabji and 4 rotis. you can imagine the quantity. the food is fresh hot and yum. service is quick and friendly.
    its also a nice place to have some drinks and snacks and chill in the open air (especially in the winter)
    also unlike other places, with the bill they provide an amazing pan shot.
    everyones got to love that.
