Low value for money and service is bad 2012-05-24
The vegetarian food overall was okay. However the Kulfi was bad (rock solid, very dry and some stale almond / pista) so that I had to leave it and told that to the manager. General decency is to either take the item of the bill or offer some other dish.. But NO! not this staff.
Waiter dropped paneer tika on the table, my clothes and the floor while serving (okay accidents do happen). However he had no understanding to get some wet cloth and or soda etc so that things can be cleaned up. Takes my own napkin and tries to wipe things off...

Vegetarians Beware! 2012-05-24
Were there on 23rd May, 2012. Was sitting facing the tandoor open kitchen. Saw the person put the chicken on the grill with hands, then wiped the hand on his apron and immediately started to make rotis with hand and put it in the tandoor. Called the manager but he comes back to tell me that what I saw was wrong and that the cooks in the (open) kitchen said that nothing of this happened. -

Lacks Value for Money 2012-05-09
Punjab Grill boasts of grand exteriors and Interiors. The Classic Crystal Chandeliers also add to the effect. Punjab Grill makes many promises but it just fails to keep them once you shift the focus to food. I visited the place with 2 of my friends and within a few minutes we realised that there was water dripping from the AC(not acceptable for a restaurant of such stature). We had to shift the places.

Complete disappointment 2012-04-16
For the first time I went to this place with my family with a great expectation, I ordered for the basic punjabi food Murg Makhani and boneless chicken biryani and a series of disappointment started. To start with the chutney bowl was badly chipped, "check the cutleries before serving", Litchi mocktail was asked and a Kiwi mocktail was served.
The chicken in both Makhani &Biryani was under cooked and was hard to chew...disgusting. The staff tried to cover their mistake by requesting us to have a complementary desert but we refused and did not want to take any further chance with the food -

nice food but too expensiv 2012-03-16
Yest eve visited the rest.. Ambiance superb... Staters (v r pure veg.) was superb.. Galothi Kabab n bhutta kabab was nice.. V just had 2 staters , 1 lassi n 1 mattha... Bill was around 1500.. I think its too expensive for the food n name.. -

Average food at a premium 2012-02-29
Staff at Reservation table: You have to pester an unfriendly staff member to give you a table YOU ALREADY BOOKED for a good half an hour. Of course, your fellow mumbaikars joining you at dinner are never on time, so this can be moved on from quickly for some.
Service by Waiter: knowledgeable, took appropriate time for orders, and made some good suggestions for variety.
Food: You will be served with some of the most massive pieces of meat you will ever encounter. Despite just ordering kababs, dry tandoor items, and a bread platter, this was way more than enough to fill us... read more -

if you are looking for some sumptuous punjabi food to tickle your taste buds then punjab grill is the place for you.. from delicacies ranging from their salmon Tikka to murgh makhani every bite takes u to an enthralling experience that one may never forget. My personal Favorites are the Dahi kebabs and paneer lababdar.
also in deserts Do try their kheer shots which is simply irresistible.
Thumbs up for the quality and service couldn't have asked for anything better ! -
