Found a nail in a modak 2011-09-03
Hi. I found a nail while in one of the modaks which I had half eaten. This is completely unacceptable and that too during festive season. I am certainly not buying sweets from Chandu Halwai ever again, and would encourage my friends to not as well. -

given de fact dat de name of dis particular establishment is pretty popular, one wud expect nothing but quality stuff here, nd one wud not be disappointed :)
all de sweets taste delicious, even de samosas and chaats are pretty good nd have dat northern taste, so appealing, so appetizing. nd de best part-ever since dose "investigative news channels" hv started covering dreadful news about dose all dat poisonous stuff being put in our eatables, dose adulterated sweets in de market nd all, we r all very concerned bout not buying eatables 4m chaalu roadside eateries. nd dis place is definate... read more -

Great samosas, one of the few places that serve tangy tamarind chutney along with it. The sweets are a must-have, and the prices are fairly low. -
