We went here a few days back celebrating my spouse's birthday....
True to form (and as so many reviews below will repeat) the service here is impeccable..... The restaurant is broken into two sections.... a brightly lit bit and a cosily lit one....
We were waited upon by a gentleman called Rashid Ali and the very fact that I remember his name after so many days talks volumes about how comfortable he made us feel...
I had the set menu (about 4000/- including taxes) while my spouse went a la carte (between 900/- to 1800/-)

Best service - average food 2009-02-17
Took the wife to Pure some time ago, the place is very well designed, laid out in two sections white and black. The black one is def the better one, its cozy, private and dimly lit.
Pure is marketed as a organic dining destination which i think is ridiculously inadequate since its more European fine dine than anything else.
You get a choice of ordering off the menu or calling for the tasting menu or the one paired with wine (3000/4000 pp) we chose the menu.

Went to Pure last weekend and must say that even after having read the reviews here - and hence having high expectations ; I was still pleasantly surprised
In one word the experience was awesome !!! A great menu combined with great service ...
I was recommended Pure's version of bloody Mary ; think its called "Past and Present " and I can only say it was divine . I can still taste the complex flavours of that drink . Awesome would also describe the pomfret that I had - chargrilled with tomato based sauce

everything written in the reviews is right. its got great ambience, excellent staff, good to do both business and pleasure. i went there first to try out the food because of the organic factor, and then went again to check if my taste buds had registered correctly. i dont think i liked the taste of most of the stuff that i did here. anyway, but its a great looking place. -

Went to Pure last weekend. And loved the place, the ambience, the menu, the service, the wine, in short everything. Of course this place is very expensive. But it is just the kind of place you want to go to when you want to be pampered and spend some quality time.
The chef Joshua comes out and asks you your preferences and then suggests what he can toss up for you. It is best to let him decide.
I had well cooked scallops with a Japanese caramelised sauce, which was oh so good. I followed it up with a grilled salmon on a dish of Japanese flat noodles. And the best testimony about the... read more -

Pure-ly Fabulous! 2007-04-10
Went to Pure for dinner last night and have to admit that it's been a WHILE since I had such a great meal in Bombay! Everything from the ambience of the place to the service to the food was par excellence.
The chef personally came out to greet not only us but all the other diners in the place as well which is a really nice touch! I ordered the grill seared Salmon on a bed of caramelized cauliflower and it was fabulous. I washed it all down with a couple of beers. Shi Shi Manhattan Spot in Mumbai 2006-08-15
Pure is the new shi-shi place in town. They claim to be a healthy, all-organic restaurant with a keen focus on fresh, no-preservative ingredients. First off, the ambience in this restaurant is pretty amazing. The restaurant has been very purposefully bifurcated into an area with a more dim, darker atmosphere (better for a date), and a white, well-lit atmosphere (families, business, etc.).
