Sitting in Marine drive on a Saturday eve with thoughts of a good dinner would always bring memories back of Relish. It is just 1/2km from NCPA end with ample parking space (ofcourse BMC wala :p )The place is quire crowded on weekends with long waiting hours. Only way to beat the Q is to go for early dinner. But be ready for a lot of chitter chatter since many families visit here.
This resto serves literally all cuisines (American, Italian, Mexican, Oriental & Indian).
The ambiance is decent. Brightly lit with good round tables in the corner for a big group. I have heard they organize candle lights on Monday.
Food Review:
a. Potato skin with American corn & Cheese - 5/5 one of its kind. Must try
b. Potato skin with mexican beans & sauce - 3/5 avoid.
c. Insalate Aglio Olio - The king of salads with lettuce, zucchini, bell peppers, mushroom, cottage cheese, olives tossed in olive oil. 4/5. Only feedback is the mushrooms were very raw.
d. cheese garlic bread 4/5. a welcome change after continuously eating garlic breadtsicks of dominos for months. A good spread of cheese and a mild garlic flavour
e. Veggies in thai curry - 3/5. Average taste and too sweet. You get better thai curries in Mainland China
f. Tiramisu - 4/5 - My first. So an unbiased tongue. Found it extraordinary with moist brownie in layers of cheese cream and coffee flavour.
Serve Quality - 3/5. Fast service is a thumbs up. But I had to ask them to refill water every time - Thumbs down.
