    Had Been to this place during the the T20 cricket series that just wound up some time ago. Had crazy fun rooting for my team at this buzzing lounge. It has a very young and upbeat ambience along with peppy and foot-tapping music. Tried kebabs for starters and ordered for a couple of sizzlers since they had some ongoing offers on sizzlers. The starters and cocktails that we tried were pretty good but the same cannot be said about the sizzlers. The waiters were prompt and friendly. Overall a good experience. Though I am of the opinion that the food needs to be worked on.

    Wanted to have a ladies nigh out and the place was perrrrfect fr dat. The jockey playing the music was cool - on our request he quickly wrote down the songs on a tissue and the rest 2 hours we were swaying. The prawn fettucini is a must must try and classic chicken lollipop was as classy. The Long-Island Ice Tea cocktail - well shaken and well enjoyed!!

    Service is pathetic and DJ is wothless.
    We went in a group of 5 and 3 suffered from food poising and tummy upset.
    Avoid this place.. It's waste of money and health conditions....

    We were a group of 7 ppl who went there to enjoy our Sunday and had an Avg. experience:
    - Not an appealing ambiance (dint try terrace tables coz of day time)
    - No place to dance (Not allowed)
    - Food taste average
    - Serves Foster Pitcher only (for rest, you can order pints)
    - Rock Music mainly (that too very loud and DJ won't entertain any of your requests)
    - Service was fine.
    - HAPPY HOURS - 2.30pm - 6.30pm (as informed by Mgmt)
    - Costs us 2k per person

    In my opinion, there are other better places/bars/pubs/restaurants worth visiting than facing the Rude

    Cheap booze. (Look out for weekly offers)
    Service is not good. Its like a typical sellers market, no importance given to customers.
    Open air seating overlooking Powai Lake is good option at nite. Food is ok.

    Rude lounge keeps up to its name... RUDE. I was at Rude Lounge Powai, second floor and dint enjoy even a bit of it. The place was completely covered with smoke from cigarettes/cigars. Very loud music, felt like leaving at that instant. To top it all its expensive which is totally not worth it. Food was OK. The place should me more organized.

    I would definitely not go next time..It is amongst the saddest lounge where people after trying to have a good time may get spoiled with the attitude of the manager.

    This lounge does not provide discount even though they promote American Express/CITIBANK, etc.

    I called and confirmed them on phone before i moved to this lounge. But this guys have their own way of treating people and may harm you personally as well. There is a lady who works at Rude Lounge Powai and she might be a problem if you argue for a discount (i always keep a distance away from ladies).

    The food - Good, the Ambiance - Good, the music - Good... The people.... ahhh... now 'Thats' the problem.... I really wish the 'management' were courteous enough to let people be, instead of trying to treat every honest customer as a die hard drunk who needs 'bouncer' assistance to be escorted off their hallowed restaurant....

  • Poor hygiene, low cost food Sep 02, 2012

    Been a regular here for drinks and dinners with office team. Liked it for the low cost, and tastier food. The last lunch didn't turn out so nice. Found a crawling bug on my pizza, probably because it was the first time I have been there in day light. When contacted the waiter and by the time he arrived , the crawling insect moved from pizza top to the plate and Mr waiter told us that its on the plate. LoL . Guess they have been told to aggressively handle the mistake.
    None from my team visited Rude again.
