Disappointing 2012-04-23
Taste of the Churros is not at all worth the price they charge.
An average place to come with a large group of friends to have a good time as the ambiance is way better than the food here.
The service staff is courteous and polite.
The 2 stars are only for the ambiance and staff.
HIGHLY overpriced average quality Churros. -

This place is awesomeeeeee.......there are no words to describe this place. Me and my brother bumped into this place whilst we wer looking for something else, so we decided to give it a go annd guess what we loved it!! Normally my brother who does not really comment on food also loved it. The Brussels waffles were to die for, the chocolate ice cream and the vanilla ice cream was just out of this world. Loved this place to the core. -

I had read about san churros and was waiting to try it out ,so a few days back me and my friend went there.
The seating arrangement downstairs was a bit congested ,to sit in our chairs we had to tell the people from the adjoining table to shift,
when we asked whether we could sit in the section upstairs they said it was closed at that time.
we had an icecream sundae ,well the ice cream was ok but the brownie was a little hard
the service was ok

La Chocolat... 2012-03-07
Visited the place on Saturday night with friends - first visit. What struck me is the great ambience, courteous staff and ofcourse loads of chocolate in various form. The top floor seating is spacious for dessert place (which is a surpirse in Bandra).
Great place to for dessert, and recommended visit for all (they do serve other flavours also). Reasonably priced as well. Just dont order the 7 layer cake for only yourself!! Too good, too big! -

I walked into San Churro out of sheer curiosity and am so glad to have done it. This place is every choco-maniac's fantasy come true.
The chocolate fondue, which you can choose from milk, dark or white chocolate, is a must-have. The melted chocolate in a fondue pot is served with portions of pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries, banana slices, churros and brownie. And it is fantastic and fun, especially if you are sharing it with friends and want to josh around a bit.

Desserts to DIE FOR!!! 2012-02-13
If you are a chocolate lover, head straight for this place..! Conveniently located on Waterfield Road, this place has the best- 'est' Churros in town- believe me it matches the stuff I have experienced in the best of bakeries worldwide..and the chocolate fondue is yummmmm! Kudos to the concept and the managers, staff everyone :) -

Hunt to discover the perfect hot chocolate ends.. 2011-12-30
San Churros is Chocolate Heaven..The Milk-Hot Chocolate is just perfect and unadulterated..I am definitely heading back there soon enough to try the Dark and White hot chocolate as well..
As a suggestion, I wish they would incorporate few more non-chocolate based options in their food menu..Other than that no complaints whatsoever :) :) -

Not My Kind Of Chocolate 2011-10-14
Yes, it's true... I didn't like the chocolate at San Churro. I also, thought the whole Churro bit was over-rated. The fondue which is their main preparation comes with churros, fruits, marshmellows and some other stuff to dip and eat with the supposedly yumm melted chocolate. However, I didn't like the taste of their melted chocolate... it just didn't taste like melted chocolate. Besides the fondue we also tried couple of their sundaes and shakes which were strictly okay. -

San Churro is not a name you usually associate with chocolates, but 1 trip to the chocolateria & this name is gona stick 4ever! San churro is like a breathe of fresh air in terms of its products & ambience, its nothing like anything i have ever come acroos ans certainly a lot better than i expected.
CHURROS are yummy and make a brilliant combo with their molten chocolate & their CHOCOLATE FONDUE takes your love for chocolate to a totally different level. Now i am a self confessed San Churro addict. -
