  • Excellent place for Asian food 2011-09-03

I am so delighted to visit San Qi. One of the best places that serves Asian cuisine. Firstly the ambience, the interiors are awesome. It is the place to go for special occasions. The staff is cordial and makes your lunch/dinner special. Coming to food: there is wide range of Asian dishes. They also have set menus for a 3 course meal incase you don't feel like choosing. The quality of food is again a plus point. I had the best Thai curry in San Qi. The chef also takes care of any special need you have. Money wise it is expensive, but it the food, the decor and the service makes it totally worth... read more

  • Great food, decent service 2011-07-17

The gingko nut/mushroom tofu wrap and hot & sour vegetarian soup are both great. Service could be a little more personal.

  • Great food, great drink and priceless service 2011-04-07

Love the place. First time to their brunch last Sunday. Very fresh seafood on the upper floor Japanese section. Love the freshly opened oysters. One of the best dessert spread in Mumbai too. Of course, lobsters, mud crabs and French champagne are the main attraction for me. Will come with more friends.
Ps. Thanks to the waiters and waitresses for their hard work and warmth.

  • Do not go!! 2011-02-18

There is nothing here that sets this place apart. There is a strange mix of cuisines and let me tell you that you can get better food at the same exorbitant price at manyyy places in Bombay. Trust me when I say this place is not worth it. We paid 12k for 4 people and tried a lot of food and wow was it tasteless. Ambience is great but what does one do with that when the food sucks?

So, if you good chinese food- Royal China or Golden Dragon
    Japanese- Wasabi or Tetsuma
    Indian- Ziya or Copper Chimney

Otherwise for the same kind of vibe go to India Jones.

    I guarantee

  • Worth Every Penny 2011-02-08

Went there a few weekends back for the launch of their new Floating Buffet. It was DIVINE. The choice of four different cuisines PLUS a desserts station was more food than anyone could handle! I found myself over-eating for the want of not wanting to leave anything out!
Service here is always impeccable and the food is simply amazing. My favourite would have to be the Japanese with their quality sushi and to die for lamb tepanyaki.

If there were one recommendation it would be to reduce the portion sizes so that people can taste everything without feeling guilty about wasting good quali

  • not worth it!! 2009-12-10

Considering its at the four seasons I thought it would be world class but I was wrong.. !! yes it was super super expensive (expected) but deifnately not worth it. our food arrived cold... the sushi was just OK (try shiro across the road, excellent sushi). Better service was expected. We ended up paying almost $250 for 2 people!!

Make your way to San-Qi. it's a refreshing change and their Cantonese cuisine is to die for!! The ambience and service are top class! The momos & stir fry noodles for vegeterians and peking duck for non-vegeterians are a must try!
