Too expensive for average service and bad taste 2011-05-27
Went to kandivali link road sankalp. Good interiors and cutlery but the service was very average and the dosas & sambhar didnt taste as per the price. Too expensive.. paid 700 for 3 dosas, 1 idli, 3 lassis -

Still consistent! 2011-03-07
Last time I went to this place was quiet many months back and surprisingly the consistency is still the same. Which is getting quiet rare in this industry! Initially every place offers good food and service but as their popularity increased, the rates increase but their service and quality of food starts decreasing!

Oh Please ! where is the politness 2011-01-19
Run by a South Indian and as far as they're are concerned they're really polite people.
Food quality and quantity good presentation and tastes 10 on 10 but politeness no (negative)
I was coming with my family which include old people we were total 5, and old people cant really run so two of us went to book the table the manager there asked us how long more we have people waiting in 5 minutes ten times we were really disturbed and as our building is bang opp, old people cant jump across we asked him to be patient they're coming well he wasn't.

Chutneys and ONLY chutneys!! 2010-11-06
visited this place for lunch.. the place was quiet empty even though it was a weekend afternoon.. the service is ok! it has a large variety but NO taste! nothing tastes authentic here but the chutneys!! so go there ONLY for the chutneys..
it is OVERpriced! -

if ur in mood to try different types of south Indian dishes den dis is d place. they serve almost 7-8 types of chuttneys. All yummy!!

Sambhar and chatni worth the trip! 2010-05-02
Food is definitely overpriced. And the funny thing is there is no standard maintenance in b/w the various branches. I went to this one at Kandivli with sister who was raving about the place since her visit at the Powai branch. But she was totally disappointed since the ambience, service was real bad compared to the powai branch. Also, the menu differed!!!! What we ordered was normal dosas, uttapam, and vadas. They were all ok. Uttapam was good though. But well, I loved the chatni and sambhar!! It was indeed yummilicious! Overpriced and Not so good food 2010-03-29
45 bucks for that damm boring filter coffee - which was below average - huh
well even the dosas were not something very special - they were just ok and overpriced
not worth the money spent.
i guess they should get some tips from Meethibai dosa guy - -

The place is just not worth it, in any of the departments. The South Indian food is not authentic at all (this is a true blue South Indian talking...), too overpriced and the service sucks.
Asked for the Dakshin thali thrice at around 10 p.m (the place is open uptil 11 pm ) and was refused , saying it is available only till nine pm.
The Bisibele bhath is a mish mash mess, and the masala dosas at some of the Udupi joints better taste and priced much lower
Ambience too is a thumbs down.

Not worth 2010-02-06
This place is juss not good for those who luv south indian food. Rasam served is very different. I t seems that they jus serve some water with chilli powder in it. The dosas served are not so good and are not worth paying the cost. Though i luv south indian food i jus hated this place since the food served it not good at all. This place lags for its service to. They will serve first those people who are in large group. It is over priced. And not good either. -

Sankalp Rocks In Bhayendar W 2009-12-31
We are lucky to have Sankalp in Bhayendar W.
This is the only branded south Indian restaurant in Bhayendar with amazing ambience and superior quality food. I just love their trademark serving style & presentation of plethora of chutneýyysss & sambhar......everyone should visit atleast once to experience authentic indian meal..... -
