Im suprised I hadnt heard about this restaurant's existence despite being in business for decades and that too when its located on a good spot. My awareness is also supported by the number of reviews on burrp for this restaurant.
Anyways, on a sunday night at 9, we easily got a table for 4 (another suprise). Someone told me that this restaurant underwent renovation. Didnt look that way. We ordered a couple of tomato soups. Love Love the indian food 2009-12-20
Its worth travelling from the surburbs to south bombay IF your heading to santoor.
Let me start with the good:
The khati chicken roll is excellent (wrapped in romali roti)...with a yummy green yogurt chutney.
Then went on to chelo kebab (The best in whole of mumbai)
Then went on to eating the reshmi parathas (out of this world- they melt in your mouth) with delicious red chicken gravy (ask the chef for something different)
Besides knowing the owner the food on a whole is yummy food!Staff are very friendly and courteous. Only one complaint: the toilet is kept in a bad shape.... read more -

Home delivery 2009-10-16
I know of the place since I was in school... it used to be a favourite for home delivery of Indian food and even now after 20 years I feel the place has the best paneer rolls in the city!! really love it!! -

Decent food, awful service! 2009-07-31
This is the kind of place which makes you vow to never return, by the time you are done having your meal. I have been here around three times (just because its next to my office and we don't have much options for a lunch out in the vicinity) and unfortunately, have experienced the agony that many times. The food is decent, average affair. The turn off is the extremely lousy and laid back service, easily among the worst I have experienced thus far.
