  • Indeed the best Kebabs !!! 2012-01-10

I'd read lot of reviews about this place and its Seekh Kebabs, so last weekend I chalked out my plan, complete with the transport, route and time I'm going to take to reach this place early so that I can avoid rush.

I reached pretty early around 5.30 pm and the hotel was easy to locate, as the address points out.. its just opposite the Nagpada Police Station, however, I couldn't see any Name board though. I ordered for Iranian Seekh Kebabs, Maska Paav and Zabaan Masala and Chai. The Kebabs were indeed amazing - crisp outside, soft inside and melts in your mouth spreading its magic on

  • Awe-bloody-some!! 2011-12-04

According to me, this place beats any damn place claiming to be the best in real Mughal cuisine. This place has the best keema, bheja fry, kaleji, kebabs and paya soup (well thats pretty much everything) in the city!!..although in the recent years I've never been able to get the "eat in" time right for the keema plate..but u can still parcel it though!. This place really may not look look like much but trust me! it'll rock the socks off anyone!!..there is absolutely nothing -nothing that comes close to this place in the city!. "Fida" is the word!..

  • Simple yet amazing kababs 2011-05-28

What can i say about this place that hasn't already been said. The best Sheekh Kababs in Mumbai. Soft and tender, lightly spiced, succulent...they are amazing. Even the other dishes are quite good. Try the Chicken Fry Masala with Rotis. Brain masala is decent too. Avoid the kheema (nothing horrible about it, it just wasn't to my taste). Make sure you reach there before 10.00 pm, so that you are sure to get the sheeks. sometimes, you can even get them till 11.30 or so, but in limited quantities...must try if you love kababs...

My boyfriend and his homies eat at Sarvi every time they're within a one kilometer radius of the place. For ages I'd been hearing Sarvi this and Sarvi that. Imagine the joy when i was finally taken to Sarvi with the boys. It was like being included in a secret club , like a formal acceptance.

Since there has been sufficient praize of the Seekh , I gather not much is left to be said. I will move on to the perfectly soft fluffy n slightly crunchy rotis. Bad rotis can be a bummer . you wont have to worry about the rotis at Sarvi. I strongly advice trying the paya soup. It's the best paya

  • The best Seekh kebabs in town! 2009-06-19

I gave it a perfect rating just for the Seekhs. These are very different than your typical dongri ishtyle seekh kebabs. Very mildly spiced, mint tinged and succulent, coupled with the price factor are an irresistible proposition! The special chai is also lovely. Notable mention for the Keema Pulav which is also mildly flavoured. I always order take out from this place as its rather cramped.

  • Excellent Seekh Kebabs 2009-01-25

I have been to Sarvi a couple of times. Their Seekh Kebabs are simply superb, always bang on the money. Seekhs are their biggest USP. The Brain Masala, Zabaan Masala Fry, Mutton Biryani are decent but nothing noteworthy about them. Their service can try your patience sometimes. The pricing is reasonable and will never burn a hole in your wallet. This place deserves only 3 stars but their Seekh Kebabs forces me to hand 4 stars.

  • Truly an old world experience 2008-10-28

Having heard innumerable tales of Sarvi's sheek kebab's, we ventured down to Nagpada on Diwali. You can take your pick of seating areas, a table with the view of the Nagpada police station or one with a view of the erstwhile Imperial Bank.
Nothing much has changed since my Mum frequented this quaint eathery close to 30 years ago. The typical Irani marble top tables and wooden chairs may have lost their sheen, but the guys in the kitchen haven't lost theirs.
We stuck to the basics which were sheek kebabs and naans. Must I say, they were done to perfection. The meat is done just so,

  • AMAZING SEEKH KABABS. 2008-10-07

In the last few years I have read lots of articles which said that sarvi situated opposite nagpada police station has the best seekh kababs in town. From outside the place looks quite seedy so till last week I did not have the guts to venture inside.
But last friday we were passing by that locality and my stomach started growling .we parked outside the restaurant and I went inside and requested them to serve us in our car which they agreed to quite graciously.
Now coming to the seekh kababs let me tell you that they were absolutely amazing.very delicately flavoured they were almost meltin
