If you have lived in Mumbai for more than six months and haven't sampled the Paani Puri at Satkar, you are missing out on Seventh Heaven. The thought of their perfectly crisp puris + warm ragda +killer theeka chatni can motivate me to grab a share cab from nariman point to churchgate at any given time of the day! Don't forget to haggle for the extra masala puri at the end of your plate of six puris. Grab that cab to Churchgate right away!

not a complete menu - as you would expect 2009-11-03
I donâ??t know if its closed down or what because its been time since ive been there, but it had always given me pretty good food Unfortunately, theres no alcohol here, so ive been here after a few drinks and I canâ??t remember the names of the dishes. The uttapam there was a disappointment though. And i didnt really get all the dishes i wanted. -

Like an Udipi but not there yet...2.5/5 2009-04-18
Used to frequent this place many years ago when we were in college since there weren't too many options around then.Have only tried the non-A/c section since the A/c section was added on later.
Food: Only try the south Indian stuff or maybe the chaat outside (since all the hawkers are gone now). The north Indian food is very bad so don't even venture there. Food is average and not as good as an udipi. Not too sure of quality n leanliness though
Ambience & service: Like any udipi

Once I get in,How do I stay in? 2009-04-17
as someone already said, a typical udipi joint with dizzy fast service. The problem is, once u get in here and order, they will serve you in 5 minutes and another 10 minutes will see a bill mysteriously appearing on ur table. The food is always good, clean, fresh and hot. But if u r looking forward to spending some quality time with anyone, sorry boss thats not happening-until you get in the AC section.
The menu is essentially almost the same, but they have certain more varieties of chaat and other stuff available here than in regular section, even prices are a bit different (obviously!)... read more -

Good place for a quick bite 2009-03-14
A typical 'udipi' restaurant by Mumbai standards. Good food served quick and hot.
The chat counter outside the restaurant is a positive if you are in the mood of some quick and crisp munches.
Price of course are is not an issue. Absolutely reasonable and a complete VFM. -

fast, standard, shetty servings 2008-04-28
Thali, south indian, north indian everything at a speed that would make you dizzy.
But good wholesome, i guess because, have never heard anyone falling sick or not liking the stuff. -
