I dont know if many people know about this but this place has quite a large buffet on on Sundays , the pizzas are really oven fresh and to die for.
its a lil on the expensive side but overall a fantstically large spread. -

Its a nice restaurent on 20th floor in Taj Mahal Palace, good ambiance, good testy food what else you want more than this!

Lunch Buffet - Good food but not an exotic spread 2011-06-03
Okay so the occassion was parents wedding anniversary and wanted to treat them to the Lunch Buffet either at the Taj President or the Shamiana. Called up the Taj Corp Office, they recommended the Shamiana and there we were!
Okay so in terms of Ambience - Its strictly okay, small, a bit cluttered, not too much space, like any other regular restaurant !
Service - Really good, one of the few places where you dont get disappointed!

Good buffet wid amazing dessert spread!! 2010-10-13
Went to this lovely plce wid couple of offce fellas 4 lnch.
Location: I dont think so I need to explain where dis plce is located... bt once inside the great TAJ, go straight ahead, take d left at d dead end & then enter this beautiful cafe!!
Ambience: typical cafe u wud find in a 5 star.. nthng mch to comment abt!
Food: Amazng spread of the buffet in terms of starters & desserts! The cuisine was a mix of Indian, continental, chinese & italian. The starters had a good spread of about 20 odd items to fill ur plate. D best one I liked was the veg kabab.... amazingly soft!!... read more -

Disappointed on my umpteenth visit 2009-11-16
My first visit since I started burrp-ing to this place we are both actually quite fond of, and it turned out to be a bit aof a bummer.
The problem was quite simple -- the food was not so good. The tenderloin was tough, dry and stringy. The grilled chicken likewise. And the Hot Baked Cheese Cake was very average.
The saving grace, which salvaged the 3-star rating, was an excellent Lemon Grass Shrimp Soup, and a very warm and caring server. And our love for, and long association with, the place. Sure we'll give them another chance or two! -

A 5 Star Experience 2009-10-19
Have been there for evening tea and the experience has been great.. The warmth the stewards showed along with a hot cup of tea, hot pakoda platter and a fried fish was truly amazing.. Though a little expensive , it is recommended for its service and comfort that one gets. -

Good Buffet 2009-06-03
I have been here only for the lunch Buffet. Good 5-Star food and ambiance. It has a mixture of cuisines on the buffet and an excellent collection of cold food and salads. And like most 5- Stars the Desserts are just awesome.
A little expensive, but am must visit if you get hold of a good discount voucher. -
