Shiv Sagar brings up the taste and images of overpriced, bland food and this place lives up to that. I ate here all but once. Even the coffee was bland. So was the masala pav. It took repeated attempts to ask the waiter to clear the plates. A sarson ka saag for 110 bucks for a place like this robbery. An ice cream sundae we ordered has a chocolate sauce that tasted like Cadbury's drinking chocolate powder mixed with water.

Visited the restaurant a few days back, was extremely dissappointed, the pav bhaji we ordered was not good at all, we tried atleast 6-7 other starters as there were many people,but none of them tasted as the actual dishes do taste,even the maincourse vegetables had a sweetish taste to them .
The service was also bad not even once after the first serving of water were we asked again for it and we had to ask many times before our plates were cleared.
I'm surprised at some of the earlier reviews which recomended pav bhaji at this place ,there are definitely way much better places for trying... read more -

pls look into the hygiene factor!!! 2010-01-20
now v all know that shiv sagar is famous for pav bhaji inspite of various make overs..they still have cockroaches crawling..n not one alone..quite a few tiny roaches creating havoc on the tables.
pls avoid this place unless u r really hungry n the neighborhood outlets r shut!! -
