Step back in time 2010-09-08
We had not been to The Society for several years and occasionally wondered if it still existed. One morning while driving past we saw a hoarding publicising it and realised it was still functional. A few days later we decided to have dinner there and see if their steaks were we still as good as we remembered.

Time Stands Still 2010-07-10
when you enter this restaurant, takes you back to the 70s... I doubt the decor has really been changed at all.....
The food is good Ole Continental, which is to die for!!!! The Steak Fernandez, well, a gastronomic experience.....
One of the few places which does Gueridon Service at an affordable price.....
Lore has it that the Hotel had had a Hawaiian nite & there were a load of pineapples left over.... No one knew what to do....
