Went to this place yesterday and asked for a table for 9.
They guy mentioned that he would join 2 tables but would be able to occupy only 8. Hence 2 ppl can sit separately on some other table.
On telling him that that is not what we would want, the guy only said that he cannot do anything else. The only thing we could tell him at that point is "thanks for letting us know that you DO NOT encourage big groups to come to your restaurant". And he just smiled.
This was preposterous! Cant believe that there are ppl who let their customers go away like this.
He could have atleast asked us to wait for sometime till he arranges a table. but this was not at all a pleasant experience. The hotel should look into this as this in turn can affect the brand.
