spicy dessert...! 2012-02-25
Food was great... awesome taste... B U T...
- the staff was pushy, to convince me to have lobster and crab, against my preference; (may have pushed the concept of Customer service.. way too far...)
- it was wayyyyy toooooo exorbitantly costly..
Even my meal at Sahara Star was not as expensive... per head 1850 (meal for 4 approx 8k). I do not understand, if the review here (meal for two 2k) was wrong, or I faced some strange situation..
only consolation was food was good...! so no (or less) complains...! -

First of all 5 Stars!
Fresh out of the ocean - crabs, fish, prawns... and yes, they do customise orders - the best thing I liked was the number of times the chefs probe to understand your expectations - and voila! They exceed your expectations with the output - consistantly!
Check in at Something's Fishy for a pleasant outing. -

Not a good expereince with the staff 2011-12-05
Went to this place yesterday and asked for a table for 9.
They guy mentioned that he would join 2 tables but would be able to occupy only 8. Hence 2 ppl can sit separately on some other table.
On telling him that that is not what we would want, the guy only said that he cannot do anything else. The only thing we could tell him at that point is "thanks for letting us know that you DO NOT encourage big groups to come to your restaurant". And he just smiled.
This was preposterous! Cant believe that there are ppl who let their customers go away like this.

One of my favorites in Navi Mumbai.... 2011-02-11
This is place you can go and will not be disappointed......its more than a safe bet when you have to take out your family, friends or business clients......
I frequent here so have tried most of the fares in the menu and though there are some not to my liking, still most of the menu items are good and definitely worth a try.... especially the Chinese style fish (not able to recall the exact name)....chicken is succulent and juicy and have never found it rubbery......i have friends who like the crab here....
