  • Dump the Selfish Owner and his restaurant. May 04, 2012

@smanitj, we should never ever go to such restaurants. you should have spoken to the owners in front of his guests. As a hotelier or a credible restaurant owner he should not have done this. This is not how the service industry functions. Obviously it is a trashy joint. I bet the owner would not even bother to tender in an apology or write on this forum. But you must be vocal about all such experiences. You did the right thing by walking out.

  • awesome food and service at an economical price Sep 21, 2011

    Paneer dishes were great.
We went on a sunday afternoon as a couple, and since not many guests were present, we were invited to sit on the central rising podium, surrounded by hanging threads with stoned embedded on them. It was a beautiful and romantic experience.

    The staff was extremely courteous.
Definitely looking forward to visit again

  • The Costliest & Poorest Sheesha in Town. Oct 30, 2010

For more than once, I have ran into the poorest sheesha ever made. The flavor (Kiwi Mint) died in less than 10 minutes and when questioned about the the reason, the concerned person told us that it is more than 30mins old. We asked for a replacement of the flavor and after 20mins we got one. The replaced sheesha had a new chillum, but the old flavor was mixed with a pinch of some more flavor and the sheesha burnt out again in 5minutes. It is not worth spending Rs. 450 on a sheesha that doesn't last for even 45minutes.
My Take - NEVER go to this place if you want to go for sheesha.

  • Poor service and sheesha as compared to worli. Nov 24, 2008

I went with my friends and believe me the rooftop was good the ambience was typical town side restaurant type. When we ordered one of it's customised flavour spicy.it truly amazed me because it was nothin but cinnamon. And the sheesha choked and then there was no smoke. It was cozy and waiters were ignorant. After 20 mins the waiter came and changed the coal and again it choked and we left.I think they should improve their service as compared to the original one at worli which rocks!

  • Poorest Staff + Service & Zero Points for Food Aug 18, 2008

Finding a decent place to eat on a Sunday night has become a task these days. All I would expect is decent food, kind staff, and a setting one could breathe in. While I have experienced a lot of disappointments, this takes the top spot - Spice & Flavours @ Walkeshwar.
We managed to get a table for 8 on the open air section of this restaurant situated right at the corner/end of chowpatty. Due to the monsoon, the area was covered up and it was quite hot with a lot of hukkas around. When requested, the manager couldn’t turn the fan on, as there seem to be one common switch for all fans and a
