I've visited this place about 5 times so far, and every time, it's more or less the same story. We usually come here to watch football matches (when the TV at home is being hogged by granny dearest, watching her excessively tear-filled family dramas) and get there when the place isn't too full. We manage to get ourselves seats after waiting around for 10-15 mins.
The second we're seated, a friendly waiter comes and asks what we'll have. We ask him to please return in 5 minutes, so we can decide (we're generally in a group so yeah, we take a while). 30 seconds later, another friendly waiter comes along and asks us what we'll have. We ask for our blessed 5 minutes to decide. When the THIRD friendly waiter comes along (yes, THIRD), we order - having hastily decided to avoid having to ask a fourth waiter for more time.
The only disadvantage of football is that a game lasts 90 minutes, and the tragedy is that the management at SBX expects you to be eating/drinking something all the while. Towards the end of the game, it gets annoying to have the manager come around every couple of minutes to tell us in his not-so-polite tone to either order more or scoot. Sure, he has a point, but if it's customer satisfaction they're after, they've got it all wrong.
Long story short - If you're seated at the bar, great service (and a great view of the screens). Their Grilled Chicken Steak is delish. Their manager dislikes me and I reciprocate that sentiment. The music can range from great to downright unbearable.
All in all, not a place I would bully someone into visiting, but alright for a once-in-a-while visit.
