  • Ek Chai Aur Bun Maska Ho Jaye... 2011-08-17

This place right outside Churchgate station is not a very lavish restaurant. A simple old hotel serving simple old food and refreshments... Most Famous for its "Chai" & "Bun Maska" Their Omlettes work like a Killer combination with the "Irani Chai".....

The furniture and the antique "Baba Adaam" fan on the very high ceiling (previous trend of places in Bombay) adds to the very Relaxing mood of the hotel.... Your view is the people of the city hustling and bustling to earn their living... while you relax and take a breath from the fast paced city... the ambience just fits in well to relax

  • Awful place! 2011-07-21

This place does not serve many things that are on the menu. The place is very shady...and they dont keep the tea cups clean. The most disappointing thing is, whatever dish you ask from the menu card, they say it is not available, and it happens everytime. Yesterday also me and my friends went to this place and they didnt have broon maska, veg pattice and not even any of the toast sandwiches. We just walked off from there. I would say it would be a total waste of time to come to this place and get disappointed!! Totally avoid!!

  • Fond Memories 2009-02-28

Though im a avid foodie like all of you here and associate myself with all the good restaurants i've visited, The Stadium Restaurant is right up there with the best of the best experiences i've had.

Of all the 6 yrs of my college life spent in S Mumbai, there was hardly a week when i did not have a chai/bun maska, omlette or kheema pao for breakfast at this joint. Though all items on the Menu are great, the true hidden gem here is the Cutlet Gravy Masala with pao, which my dad introduced me to while submitting my fyjc application forms after SSC. And it has stuck being one of my top

one of the very few places to maintain its quality and tasty food ...you might een skip the place if u happen to pass it ..but once inside and food on your table its difficult to not find an excuse to come here.

its a must try and has to be on every foodies list .

  • stadium ke bahar six maara tha 2008-04-28

This place holds extremely fond memories besides the lovely food.

Way back in 1994 it was here over kheema pav, bhurji, tea, pattice, bun maska & everything else that, one afternoon we had prepared a Business Plan on its paper napkins that stood us good for a year:)

It is a must visit whenever that part of town.....though it has been lesser & lesser now.

  • Kheema Pav, Bun Maska and Chai at Churchgate 2007-02-05

Kheema Pav, Bun Maska and Chai at Churchgate
    by

When I used to live in Empress Court, opposite the Oval, near Churchgate, I would rise at dawn, as the clock on Rajabai Tower struck Six, and go for a long brisk walk all the way to Chowpatty, and on my return, I would head for Stadium restaurant for a refreshing and stimulating cup of tea to energize me and perk me up for the day ahead. On Sundays and holidays, when we went for our super long walks down Marine Drive, up Walkeshwar, Teen Batti, down Malabar Hill, Napean sea Road, a round of Priyadarshini Park,
