I am a weekly visitor to Star Bazaar in Andheri (w), my concern is I never receive any email or sms regarding deals going on! I would appreciate if someone guides me regarding this. I am a loyalty card holder from starting of Star Bazaar!

  • It’s a place worth spending your time and money. Sep 07, 2011

The problem with the Indian economy is that the spenders aren’t smart enough as compared to the vendors.Places like more help consumers save money on MRPs and the best part is that you don’t have to run here and there to search for what you need. I really loved this place and am happy that now I will be able to save despite frequent price hikes.

  • a bit expensive than big bazar Oct 18, 2010

as a resident of andheri i find this place aa the best place to shop for household commidities..............but if you compare it with BIG BAZAR i find this place to be more expensive. Star bazar hardly have offers like the big bazar. i shop at both the places that is the big bazar at mega mall and the star bazar at crystal point but some how find big bazar to be little better than star bazar. the staff at the star bazar needs to learn from big bazar how to handle customers.

  • Great for Imported Food Items Sep 12, 2010

As an American expat, I found that Star Bazaar has the best selection of herbs and cheeses anywhere I have found in Mumbai. It's not as sleek and pretty as Hypercity, and not nearly as large, but they carry things like fresh mozzarella (very good), Halloumi, and fresh herbs like rosemary, sage, oregano, etc. The bakery section is fabulous and sells ready made pastry puffs stuffed with all kinds of delicious fillings; the cakes are not great though. Definitely a great find!

  • Poor Service May 22, 2010

    Hello,
I was a regular customer of Star Bazaar , mumbai, andheri(west). Infact I used to love shopping there. But when I came across the senior staff about afer sales servives the staff was very rude
and insulting too. The products except the grosary are of very low quality. Never buy any electronic or luggage items there. Most of the time you will find is defective once you go home.

And when you go back with complaint you are redirected from the customer care counter to the senior managers. But at many occasions the managers are not tracable and you are kept waiting
