  • Very BAD SERVICE of Swati Snacks, Tardeo, Mumbai 2012-05-04

Swati used to be good place for eating good food. It still maintains the same taste but nowaday it service has become very poor and very pathetic. Last Saturday, we went with the family and we had a very bad service experience. We have to ask several times for taking orders, even for water !!. The height of the exeperience was that even the manager who was supposed to look after the whole restaurant was purposely overlooking elsewhere and not even bothered to attend the same. When we asked for complaint register, he even didn't bother to give. Then I have insisted on the same then he gave a very... read more

  • Pathetic! 2012-03-13

My mom is a veggie. So we decided to have dinner at Swati. We first ordered some snacks. A paneer lifafa (roll kinda thing) and a 'fudina panki'. My roll was strictly average with four medium paneer cubes in 2 rolls. The fani had turned sour cuse evidently the batter was not freshly made. We chucked out the idea of having a full fledged meal. This is my first and last time into any Swati Snacks.

I can never say no to Swati! Easily one of the top 3 restaurants for me in Mumbai.

I always have the Fudina/Masala Panki, Cheese Sada Dosa, Sev Puri with Coconut/Sugarcane juice.

Corn Handvo, Ragda Petis are some other good items too. Go savour!

  • Great gujrati food! 2011-08-27

I am a big fan of non-vegetarian food and would eat only non-veg when I go out to dine. But swati snacks' VEG food was so good that I didn't miss my usual nv food. This was also my first experience at having gujrati food and man it is tasty and so nutritious. It is on the expensive side though. I ordered platter 4 (thali) and it was quite sumptuous. We also ordered masala dosa, pav bhaji and corn handvo. Very tasty and fresh. The place is very clean and I love that about swati snacks. Customer service was excellent.
