I'd been hearing a lot of people talk bout the new Mexican joint in Khar, and ive been longing to visit it ever since, however i was caught up with exams and stuck with books ever since, so was off from writing reviews for a while, But now, Im Back!
Here it goes:
This place is situated right next to Cafe Mangii in Khar, neatly done exteriors welcome you, and warm interiors, neat and simple!
We were greeted by a warm hello,nacho chips and a brief note to read, which "Please feel free to ask for more salsa to spice up the food" which seemed very amusing to me:)
A must mention the Salsa is indeed very good and you will definately call for more, lol.
We called for 1 portion of Nachos ( chips smothered with Chihuahua cheese, beans, sour creme, Guacamole and Jalepeno) Rs 299, which we found to be a bit bland but thats how Nachos are supposed to be, though Indian Pallate prefers it spicy, add "Free" Salsa to spice it up
We also called for a Grilled Veggie Taco( see Picture no 2) Rs.65, which was a soft flour tostada topped with freshly chopped veggies and Sour creme, Also served with Guacamole, which was really nice and fresh! i Liked the Taco the most!
The restaurant boys arnt hesitant one bit to help you with plentyful servings of fresh tomato salsa and Fire roasted jalapeno salsa! I loved that!
Next we called for a Mushroom and Spinach quesadillas ( See picture 1) Rs 225, which is a large flour tortilla stuffed with cheese mushroom and spinach, served with sour creme and Guacamole, which was also equally good.
Overall its a nice place for mexican food( very moderately expensive) in the Burbs , Must try!
