Tortilla?! 2011-03-31
I have just one question to the people of Taco Fresco. Why is the Burrito tortilla served in an Indian bread called Nan?
I mean you say it clearly in the menu that you use tortilla but when i opened my aluminum foil i was clearly displeased.
I am sure you have a reason behind this, please explain. -

For folks who like their mexican food sans CHILLIs 2011-03-27
Food (2/5): Good food for those who love their mexican without chillis & spices. We were four friends and personally found it bland. We love our mexican HOT in chillies and with flavours which ooze spices. (Note we tried only their vegetarian spread). The nachoos .. were not cheesy.. the fajitas wraps were crisp ... salsa dips were not at all spicy ...
Drinks (2/5): The regular cocktails and drinks are good. However we have had much better Mojitos and I was thrilled to see "Sangria" on their list.. had my first taste of it in Spain and fell in love with it. However here it was nothing... read more -

Good Mexican food in bandra 2011-02-06
This was my second time to Taco fresco, as opposed to my first I went with about 14/15 people and everyone of them was satisfied with the food.
I have meaning to look for a Mexcian place in Bandra for a while and I decided to try this out. For those from the US who miss Taco Bell... this is your answer.
Food: Love it... salsa is great... guac is even better and fresh (good job!!)
Fav dish: cannot miss the paneer burritto... mouthwatering
Suggestion: lets have some nachos with beans... and more melted cheese
Other than that, great place to try out.

an ok experience 2011-02-01
been here only once... service was neat, cos it was a week-day.. but then the food wasnt fresh.. and wasnt actually know how it was to be eaten.. no suggestion by the staff on whats good and whats not...
i may not go bak.. maybe jus for the cocktails.. -

The ambience is comfortable, service is great. The different kind of salsas are quite yummy. The food was abvoe average but I would not say its authentic Mexican - but a good place to go with some freinds to eat. I must mention - the drinks are good - good variety of ice tea, mocktail and cocktails. We had the peach and kiwi ice tea and it was really good!! -

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE!!! 2011-01-22
Went there on the basis of some reviews on this website which i am now convinced cannot be written by anyone not associated with the restaurant! he food was awful to say the least.
It starts of with "Home-made chips" that must have been made a fews days back! we ordered nachos next which had horrible presentation and our nachos claim to have come with refried beans although it turned out to be some kind of paste of them! No where near authentic!
The chicken quesadillas looked and tasted like a cheese naan with some chicken and the burrito (veg) was simply awful! No one ate more than a bite.... read more -

Search for good mexican in mumbai continues 2010-12-28
Was very keen to try out Taco Fresco, considering a long outstanding craving for good mexican in mumbai + having read some good reviews for the place. Unfortunately, have come back disappointed.
The complimentary nachos were fairly decent, but the burrito left a lot to be desired. The tortilla tastes more like a roomali roti and the fillings are bit uninspired.
In terms of ambience, while TF has tried to put together a casual and lively set-up, they could bring it up to the mark with a few somple changes (tried to give these at the restaurant but they dont believe in feedb... read more -

I'd been hearing a lot of people talk bout the new Mexican joint in Khar, and ive been longing to visit it ever since, however i was caught up with exams and stuck with books ever since, so was off from writing reviews for a while, But now, Im Back!
Here it goes:
This place is situated right next to Cafe Mangii in Khar, neatly done exteriors welcome you, and warm interiors, neat and simple!
We were greeted by a warm hello,nacho chips and a brief note to read, which "Please feel free to ask for more salsa to spice up the food" which seemed very amusing to me:)

Friend Birthday at Taco Fresco 2010-12-07
Yesterday was my friend's b'day.We decided to go out for the diner. We had heard abut Taco Fresco, for its authentic Mexican food. We visited Taco Fresco at 8.30 p.m.As we entered the restaurant we found Mexican posters, colourful chairs & also the ambiance was good.
When we entered chips & salsas were served free.1st impression was good to visit Taco Fresco.
Then we ordered for drink which had huge menu liked alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks.
We ordered for peach iced tea, strawberry crush & mango crush which I liked a lot.

India welcomes Mexico ..... About Time !!! 2010-12-04
After relishing the yum fare mexicana throughout the US, the stomach was craving for some authentic mexican food in India. Alas ... nothing for the last 6 years ... & then Taco Fresco came along.
The salsa sauces, guacamole (not the pasty types), sour cream sides with chimichangas, burrittos, taco salads, enchiladas .... ah heaven.
Thank you Taco Fresco for quenching my cravings for some authentic delicious mexican delectables. -
