Amazing Hand Made Icecreams!! 2012-01-23
Taj icecreams is one of the oldest hand made Sancha icecream shops in mumbai.The fruit icecreams are very tasty, creamy, light and full of fruit pieces.Simply amazing!!!You can conviniently forget about Baskin Robbins and even Naturals. The icecreams are prized at Rs 50 and the quantity is very good. -

burrp should award this place for the best ice-cream and the best sancha ice-cream ever. even after going there at least some 50 times in the past two years, the prices have risen only by rs. 5/-. they still do not skimp on the fruit in the ice-cream and the taste and texture remain as awesome and smooth as before.

1 of the best & possibly oldest 4 sancha icecream 2009-12-18
This place is a family business run by a gentleman named, wait for it, Abbasbhai Icreamwalla.
It is possibly one of the oldest icecream stores in Mumbai and also one of the few places where you get authentic hand-made sancha icecream.
They specialise in fruit flavours. My personal favourite has been the sitafal, but I also liked pineapple, mango, anjeer and strawberry.
It's been over a year since I was last here, but the prices are quite reasonable to say the least.
The limited number of characters in the review title field is quite a challenge. -

Have you ever been to a syndicated ice-cream parlour; eg: Naturals or Baskin Robbins and come out raving? Is it the complete experience of cleanliness, air-conditioning and ambiance that envelopes you in its pleasant arms? The answer is inconsequential really.
Well, at Taj Ice-cream (TI-c), forget the environment around. Give the ice-cream and only the ice-cream a chance. Order for any of their ice-creams, especially the ones with fruits and prepare for your tongue to be lashed with amazing tastes.
