Tata Theatre (NCPA)

Tata Theatre (1,010 seats), inaugurated in October 1980, was conceived by the postmodernist American architect, Philip Johnson. The auditorium boasts excellent acoustics, meticulously devised by Cyril Harris, making it ideal for music, dance and drama. The spacious foyers, framing views of the sea at each end, provide superb spaces for entertaining and for holding special exhibitions.
