Okay, i have no idea why everyone is badgering this place so much, i went there yesterday despite the reviews being so horrendous and it took me by surprise. I've been meaning to come here for a while, but was waiting for the right opportunity (read: ample money) the ambiance of this place is brilliant! i loved the decor especially the small water pond with lotuses whirl-pooling, lighting was just perfect (pretty romantic actually). service was prompt and the waiters were pretty approachable.
speaking of the food, lets just say I've eaten sushi a lot (and love it too) but this place by far had the best sushi, go for the sushi platter because that seems like value for money as the portions are generous. we also had the rock shrimp in spicy mayo sauce which was DI-VINE! Edamame was great too. This place did it perfectly. since we realized we were spending so much on food we considered drinks too, the tetsuma special cocktails were REALLY good! worth the money and the consideration.
after a great dinner we chose to have desserts here too (molten chocolate cake with wasabi ice cream) I died!
bill came to around 4k but what they heck! it made my month!
