I have been coming to Tewari for all my special occasion and regular mithai purchases. The staff is very friendly and they have a good selection of Indian mithai. Love their laddoos and rasgullas!
We went there with great expectations, for their "famous" Raj Kachori. What a let down it turned out to be.
The Raj Kachori was made out of an over sized pani puri instead of a large kachori base. The stuffing consisted of dahi wada, boiled chana and boiled moong with a generous helping of over sweetened curds, non tangy sweet chatni and insipid green chutney and thick sev.

The Raj Kachori, Puri bhaji, Samosas and sweets are undoubtedly top class here! But what touched me most was the fantastic service and their display of respect and trust towards customers.

A tiny very unpretentious place in the corner of a very busy junction, you can spend your whole life passing it by and not realising it was there. But once you go in, you will be hooked to its delicious mithais.
The staff at Tewaris is exceedingly polite and very efficient. If you place your order on the phone for a take away ( which is actually the best option) you will find your stuff packed and ready with a waiter to haul it to your car or taxi.
