good food 2012-02-08
Not only is the food good but it is safe and clean. The service is good, the waiters being attentive and bringing round the various items repeatedly till you ask them to stop. They also make sure that if there are children in the group they put a thali in front of them but do not charge! This is unusual to say the least!
Our only disappointment was that because we were a large group they could not seat us where we could get a view of the ocean, but the service and the food were so good that after the initial grumbling we did not even think of the view! -

very bad experience 2012-01-24
i thought thackers has excellent reputation ,but as i went there for booking firstly they told me to reserve 45 seats ,i told i will confirm in 2-3 days.after that i again went there to finalise everything, then they told me that we dont make bookings.
mr.verma told us evrything about timings and we also agreed to their timings.
but according to me they have worst reputation in mumbai,although the food may be good but all in vain. -

No respect for time,food was good 2011-10-08
Went there on a Sunday WITH A RESERVATION made 4 days earlier. I wanted one for 1.15 but was told to postpone it to 1.30. Even though i arrived there at 1.30 i was given my table a staggering 45mins late and i didn't even get place to sit in the waiting room. The staff was rude and didn't care for the fact that i had to wait. This made me think this placed food would be god like for people to still come here. I was wrong, the food was not up to its mark neither was the service!!! Desert was the best course. -

For all your Gujju food lovers, this is a must visit. The variety and quality of food served here is mindblowing. The starters along with the chutney you serve here is truly a must try for all foodies. The food is fresh and the service is pretty fast as well.
For people with huge appetites, the thali is a must have, the range and variety of gujju food they serve is a delight for any gujju food maniac. The view from the restaurant is also pretty awesome as well. Facing the see and hogging on some good home like gujju food is just perfect on any given day of the week. -
