After roaming around in Phoenix Mills, my hungry tummy wanted something spicy and nicey. So i decided to try this new place in PVR's food court area.
Thai Chi - the name sounded promising, so did the menu. Hot 'n Soft Corn Cubes, Steamed Momos, and veg dimsums....my mouth was watering only until the attendant said they don't have any of this! "Out of stock?" "No ma'am, we just don't make this here!" Then why is it on the menu?? The chinese fare displayed at the counter looked humdrum...veggies/chicken in hot sauces. So i settled for Red thai curry (comes with steamed rice). After making the payment, I was told "ma'am there is no red curry. why dont you try green thai curry?" I had lost my patience by then, but i'd already paid up so i went ahead with it.
The curry and rice were served in foldy plastic bowls. Now I know i've paid only some 100 bucks for it, but i think i deserve better cutlery! The curry was 'green' but certainly not 'thai'.... It was some garlicy paste thinned in hot water...Need i say more?
