Good Food and Great Service 2012-02-10
Thai pavilion has some of the best thai dishes in the city if you order their special items like the fish cakes and the yellow curry. Had a great time few days back with my family.
What really made the time great was that the service was very warm and attentive, and extremely fast for a restaurant in a five star hotel. -

I went here to celebrate my Wife's Birthday and let me tell you, I went out with a Smile.
The service is very very good, warm and accommodating. The Staff is exceptionally well trained and recommend well. They even got a superb bouquet for my wife which made up her day.
The problem is with decor and ambiance -- this place clearly shows up all the signs of wear and tear. The chairs reek, upholstery is wilted and wearing off, plates are full of scratches and silver ware is all bent. The Kitchen too clearly shows its age.

Thai is my favourite choice of cuisine and a visit to Thai Pavillion was to be my first Thai experience in Mumbai.
I am from Manchester (working in Mumbai for the next 6 months) and entertained 2 of my London lady friends on Saturday at Thai Pavillion - we were not disappointed.
I have backpacked around Thailand and the food here really took me back - especially the Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups, and the water chestnut and cashew nuts in a black bean sauce dish – amazingly delicious!
