    Very authentic asian food unlike most places which spice up the food to suit the Indian palate.
    If you're an asian food lover, this isn't just a must try. It should be a regular place to eat. Moreover, its pretty reasonable. I just wish you had more outlets.

    Loved the yakitori chicken & the panang curry. Can't wait for my next visit :)

    I checked out this joint while casually wandering about R-City mall on a particular weekend. Fell in love with it almost immediately. The food is just fantastic. I am actually a big fan of chinese food, so "The Bowl House" didn't let me down at all. After my first experience i have come here often and and have dug into all their cuisines Thai, Mongolian and Burmese. Beautiful Ambience and a great spread to tickle your taste buds. A must place to check out for all foodies !

    Nestled between big restaurant brands, The Bowl House holds its own. It easily gets passed off as a Chinese fine dine, but actually it offers a lot more. It specializes in South East and East Asian cuisines that include Chinese, Burmese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Malaysian and Japanese.

    Its a medium sized restaurant and the decor is red themed and oriental-looking. They offer a lunch buffet (not too sure of the rates) which I've heard is worth it from a couple of friends.

  • Split Coconut milk based dishes, misplaced orders Jul 22, 2012

    Been there twice now. Disaster first time - My friend & I were the only two people in the entire restaurant a Wednesday evening, and still our orders were wrong. It's not even a case of misplacing one customer's orders on someone else's table. There was no one else there!

    Disaster 2nd time - We ordered a coconut milk based soup, I think it was the Malaysian seafood laksa, and when the soup arrived, the coconut milk was curdled. And really tasteless. And on the weekends the happy hours is from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. After 7:30 pm we provide 3+1 on selected beers till midnight.     A group of me & my colleagues dropped in purely due to the mix of cuisines of Thai, Chinese, Jap & few other South East Asian.
    Compact tastefully decored ambience with multi seating combinations can host a good mix of customers.
    Orders were served well in time. Rich in taste, the quantity was a decent portion - goes well for 2 dishes x 3 people. Value for money, avg bill reaches 500.
    Cutlery, esp soup spoons could be improved.

    Nice settings and prompt service.

    Been here for a weekday lunch few days back. Even though the prices are on steeper side, the quantity is very much worth it. Service is smooth and attentive. But food quality and presentation are the main focus here, to come time and again.

    Will surely visit once more.
