Was wondering what to do on a late friday night - didnt want to burn cash by visiting the 5 stars at their 24 hour coffee shops. But then burrp! came to the rescue - and we were off to Le Brasserie cafe at Le Meridien on Sahar road, which we read the had a real value for money midnight buffet.
The hotel is housed in a really small but nice building, more like a big exclusive private bungalow rather than a five star hotel. And the cafe is also a pretty small place with about ten tables. But there's nothing small about the buffet spread! There was everything from 2 veg & 2 non-veg starters, lot of veg & non-veg salads, soups and the main course which consisted of mainly north Indian food along with an obligatory Chinese noodles & gravy. And almost everything tasted really good. The service was also very courteous and attentive, like you would expect in a five star. The only minor disappointment were the desserts which, while having a lot of variety, wasn't upto the mark in taste.
All in all, a great discovery and I am sure they will be seeing more of me
