such a terrible experience.. never expected this from the Le Meridien.. my friend was so confident about the place considering her corporate@dalecarnegieindia.comerience there couple of years back; she ended up shocked once we started with the dinner and started apologizing mid way ended up doing it for the next 2 days.. food was so stale; what i felt like a piece of bone it the biriyani was actually a piece of rice!!! beat that.. the deserts section was so over populated with tomato n carrot flavor... the only relief was the ice tea and the expresso!!!! and not to forget the staff... pity them... read more -

Dissapointing !! 2010-01-16
Went for the buffet after reading good reviews ... guess at 550 buck it would have been fine. We went for the dinner one @ 1100 + tax and it sucked.
Am a regular at ITC Hornby's and was expecting something on similar lines but the food really really dissapointed. The salads were pathetic ... could not finish the Betki and lamb ones. Only good part was the Sushi (better than ITC) and the cheese platter. The kababs were a surprise - the sheekh kababs and chicken reshmi ones were excellent.
Dinner was worse than average ... we only ate the Biryani - the accompaniments so tasteles... read more -

Overrated!! 2009-09-14
Title says it all. Been here a couple of times with friends. The buffet is average, the usual fare at most such restaurants offering a buffet. The ambience and decor is nice though. Prices are average, not too expensive. -

Excellent little place 2009-08-02
Was wondering what to do on a late friday night - didnt want to burn cash by visiting the 5 stars at their 24 hour coffee shops. But then burrp! came to the rescue - and we were off to Le Brasserie cafe at Le Meridien on Sahar road, which we read the had a real value for money midnight buffet.
The hotel is housed in a really small but nice building, more like a big exclusive private bungalow rather than a five star hotel. And the cafe is also a pretty small place with about ten tables.
