Quality comes with a price.. 2011-11-11
Loved the place. Nice ambience and niche crowd... The cakes and pastries are just yummy and coffee is decent too. A bit expensive but definitely worth every penny. -

we ordered 2 coffees and one iced tea. agreed the place is named coffee bean so tht iced tea was expected to be ok types, but wen it came it was not at alll sweet, tasted almost like a medicine. we got it changed thrice but it was not better than the previos one he got.
coffee tastes salty for some reason...n i would say simply horrible. -

Good coffee but priced high 2010-06-29
I liked the place, its pretty warm and cozy but thts only in the afternoons when all the corporate crowd is there.
In the evening it is jam packed and buzzing, with kids runnig all over the place.
Even after all this, i liked the place.
The cinammon flavoured coffee is really good.
Do try that..and breads and cakes looked pretty tempting...next time will try them out. -

We went to spaghetti kitchen at nariman point in cr2 mall for dinner and then decided to have a cup of coffee at coffee bean...as,it was near spaghetti kitchen(infact it shares d same entrance)....it was overcrowded with people filled all around....children yelling like anything...
It was a saturday night...
First things first...the place is quite average with little or u can say no music at all...d service is pathetic...in fact its self service....its super expensive....moreover less choice for desserts if u wish 2 have any....d coffee was like ccd 2 b honest....

Terrible coffee, pathetic personnel and no coffee-shop feel! The place COMPLETELY SUCKS!! The coffee is overpriced which could have been understandable had it been good quality and served with a smile. The only highlight of the place is the philly cheesecake which is recommended. but the feel of the place is so uninviting and cold that u dont want to spend more than a minute necessary...a far cry from the extremely lovable and homely-feeling starbucks cafes (around which the shop seems to be modelled!) -

Nothing to write home about except the location, which the proprietor is exploiting to the hilt! I only go here if I have business meetings considering that my office is right next door to it... -

i've picked up a rushed coffee from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at many earlier occassions before / after meetings around Nariman Point, promising myself i'll return and sample the food and desserts.. the coffees, while on the expensive side, have always been satisfactory...
so finally yesterday, after a long day and a late last meeting, i met up with the bhabhiji and decided to grab a quick bite before heading home...

Two words - Philadelphia Cheesecake!
I fell in love with this place the moment I stepped in. Sure, it's noisy and everything, but it has a charm about it. Considering it's smack-dab in the middle of one of Mumbai's most chaotic areas, it's a nice place to kick back or even have official meetings.
Some of their coffees are nice, others aren't worth writing home about. But courteous staff, super food (did I mention Philadelphia Cheesecake?!) and an overall top-notch ambience with lovely music make for a great experience! A definite must-try! -

the philadelphia cheesecake here is the best iv had in mumbai! a little expensive but delicious! the coffee is really bad, but should go there only for the different cakes! -

Strictly Ok Coffee Place 2009-06-15
We went to this place with possibly high expectations, given that it is another in the slew of the "International Chains" opening up across the city.
Well the place itself is nice and ambience is nice, with cosy chairs and options for Sofas as well.
A Window Display of the muffins and the cookies looked really appetising and the whiff of brewing cofee raised our expectations as well.
