I stepped into this place out of curiosity as it was set up by a group of b school(mostly IIM) buddies. It is evident that the guys have really slogged to pack in as much value while trying to keep the project viable. I felt the set up was more like an upscale hospital with focus on cleanliness and hygiene than that of a conventional spa. The lobby resembles that of a star hotel...a tad too cold and formal with suited front office staff. The masseur has a uniform which makes him look like housekeeping staff. The masseur is trained to parrot courtesies but sometimes it looks forced and comic. The main test is the effect of the massage and this is where they score. The massage techniques are special and although it doesnt feel so extra ordinary immediately...the relaxation sets in a couple of hours later.
This is a serious place for destressing for one and all, although the prices are not so pocket friendly.
Some Suggestions: The therapists could be given a smarter uniform. If the therapists could be motivated to deliver in a happy manner like the staff at Marriott or Macdonalds, it would definately bring in the crowds. I would surely visit again but when I am really stressed out and wont mind paying that much or else my neighbourhood gym massage would be fine enough.
